Darcy - Sort of Good News

Taken in 2011 - typical Darcy, not happy
with the stick I threw for her, she decided
to get one of her own.

Had the results of the biopsy tests on the tissue removed from Darcy's abdomen. It was a grade 2 tumor, but had clean margins, so there is no spread. Now we have to keep a very close eye on her and keep checking her and have regular check ups at the vets.

Not great news, admittedly, as we'd have preferred it to have been a grade 1, but at least they removed it all and there is no spread.

Many, many thanks to all of you who posted lovely comments and thoughts for our little pooch.

Darcy also sends her love :)

Creative Commons - To Be, or Not To Be?

Quick question for all your lovelies out there in the blogoverse - Creative Commons, do any of you use it? If so, what advantages are there in doing so? And is it worth signing up for?

I'm tempted, but not sure if I like what I read on their website. Any thoughts?

Second Book Cover in Progress

I thought it was too good to be true, escaping the annual Christmas cold was just a ruse - the bloody thing has me in it's grasp as I type this. I hate having a cold just as much as being cold. The two are just bleh!

Well, here is the second cover I'm working on. I've yet to hear back from the lady concerned as to whether or not she likes it, or wants it changed. But to be honest, this is the fourth incarnation of this cover and I think it's almost there.

If you're wondering what that horrible yellowish thing is on the image, it's to make it hard for folks to steal the work. You wouldn't believe how long it took me to create that planet from scratch, so I've been advised to 'protect' it. Well, there you go. Not even planets are safe from being stolen.
